Blackmores Acidophilus Bifidus provides lactic acid bacteria (L. acidophilus and B. animalis) to help maintain optimum levels of friendly intestinal flora to assist and promote proper digestive function, particularly after antibiotic use.
Acid tolerant (enabling the micro-organisms to survive the acid environment of the stomach and colonise the bowel)
Comes from a special human strain which provides easier adhesion to the bowel wall and more effective colonisation
Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis are normal inhabitants of the human intestine, and are responsible for producing lactic acid, which assists in the maintenance of digestion in the digestive tract.
Ingredients
Active ingredient per capsule: A minimum of 1 billion organisms made up of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis.
Directions
Adults: Take one capsule with each meal, or as professionally prescribed.
Children 6-12 years: Take one capsule with breakfast, or as professionally prescribed.
